Colon Hydrotherapy FAQ's

How does Colon Hydrotherapy work?

A small tube is gently inserted into the rectum to introduce water, this helps to loosen stool and stimulate the natural peristaltic action of the colon. The waste and water are then flushed out of the body.

How long is a session?

The first visit is booked for 75 minutes to allow time for an initial consultation, with the actual colonic treatment lasting 45 minutes. Follow up appointments are booked for 60 minutes, with 45 minutes of treatment time

How many treatments do I need?

It is recommended to receive 3 treatments that are spaced a week apart for optimal benefits. However, with each person being unique, this number can vary

What kind of speculums do you use?

We only use disposable speculums and tubes so you can feel safe knowing that our equipment is 100% sanitary and sterile.

What machine do you use?

We use the Aquanet EC-2000. This machine offers gravity or pressurized modes. It is a closed system colonic offering a much more sanitized treatment.

Is Colon Hydrotherapy safe?

Yes, when performed by a trained and certified practitioner, colon hydrotherapy is safe. The equipment used is sterile and disposable materials ensure a hygienic and safe treatment.

Will the treatment be painful?

Most clients experience little to no discomfort. You may feel some cramping, similar to gas pains, as the water and waste are released, but this it typically brief and mild
